01 Honda Rancher... finally broke on us

we were up on our big muddin trip and puttin the rancher on the trailer to go home noticed a pretty bad sound coming from the front end.... haven't had time to dig into it to figure out whats wrong yet but even though we are prolly gonna have to throw some money at it I am pretty proud of it. Its a 2001 Rancher ES that has been beat its entire life and has well over 4000 hard miles on it and we haven't done anything to it since we have owned it cept oil and the usual maintenance. Anyone have any idea what we should look for when we do finally have time to open it up?

What kind of sound and where in the front?

its a clunck clunck noise and its seems to be coming from the center in like differential but not sure, after this weekend we should be able to dive into it... kinda don't want to though lol

well odd thing happened... it fixed itself lol. We were looking around at everything and couldn't really find anything but a bunch of weeds (as seen in my pix ) and pulled them off the front drive shaft. So the only thing we can think of is that it was enough to set it off balance and that's what was making the clunking noise. Other then that we had it out riding around and didn't hear anything and everything was turning and spinning good soo... good deal no money spent lol
