Nova Scotia taxpayers have kicked in $10,000 for a national study on the health benefits of riding all-terrain vehicles and off-road motorcycles.

Glenn Friel, a spokesman for the Department of Health Promotion and Protection, said this week that there isn’t much information available on the topic and that’s why the department decided to contribute.
