Directions:
To access the trailhead facility, head north from Roanoke via Route 220. Just past Eagle Rock, turn left onto Route 615 at the Roaring Run Sign. Proceed about 1.5 miles, turning left onto Route 685. After crossing Craig Creek, bear left at fork in the road onto Route 818. Travel about 4 miles and turn left onto FDR 5020 (known locally as the O&I Road). Proceed about 3 miles to trailhead parking on the left. There is no fee for using or parking at this site.
