The Plumas National Forest consists of over 1,146,900 acres of public lands. This area consists of many different riding areas (see names above), so it is important to contact the local ranger to find out more about each individual area. VEHICLES PERMITTED: 4X4's, Motorcycles, Dunebuggies, ATV's, and Snowmobiles (each area varies). TERRAIN: hills, sand, dirt, etc.
