The Moose River ATV Trail, located in the Land 'O Lakes State Forest, is open for ATV use year-round. The trail follows gently-rolling terrain through dense woods around small lakes and ponds while following the upper stretches of the Moose River. This scenic area is the start of the great pine forests of northern Minnesota, and there are many lakes and resorts nearby. The trail is located near the town of Outing just south of Remer.
Nearby Facilities: Food, Gas, Lodging and Public Restrooms are located nearby. Clinton Converse Campground, located in Land O Lakes State Forest is also located nearby. It offers camping, swimming and picnic sites, located 2 miles north of Outing an 1 mile west on County Road 48. State Forest Fees apply.
