The Upper Lake Ranger District's OHV Area-South has over 100 miles of trails and roads.
The riding area ranges from 1600 feet (Middle Creek campround / staging area) to over 4500 feet (Horse Mountain).
VEHICLES PERMITTED: 4X4's, Motorcycles, Dunebuggies, and ATV's.
Map of area (call ranger station) indicates which vehicles are allowed on each trail.
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: All levels - beginner to expert with a wide variety of terrain.
Each trail is marked with a trail number with degree of difficulty symbol: Circle (easiest), Square (more difficult), and Diamond (most difficult).
