Description: Ozark-St. Francis National Forests Trail Highlights The trail leads the rider through remote areas of the Ozark National Forest and features spectacular mountainous terrain, scenic views, lush upland hardwood forests, unique rock outcroppings and clear mountain streams. The main trail and inside loops are connected to accommodate riders who want to vary the length of their trips. Stay on trails. Private property borders the trail in various places. Please respect the private landowners by not trespassing. Length There are 27 miles of main trail marked in blue and 15 miles of interior loops and shortcut trails. Directions: From Fayetteville, take Arkansas 16 east to Combs, turn south on Forest Service Road (FS Road) 1007 for 4 miles, turn left on FS Road 1509 1/2 mile to the trailhead. From Ozark, take Arkansas 23 north to Cass, turn left (west) on FS Road 1520 for 8 miles to FS Road 1509, then north 4 miles to trailhead.
