

SUITABLE FOR - Trail bikes, three-wheelers and ATV's with less than 48" axle width This trail is near both Lake Burton and Lake Rabun. It is not a loop trail so traffic is two-way. Some sections are steep (35% grade) and rocky. There are also many blind curves on the trail. Under age riders, who do not have a State driver's license should be accompanied by a legally licensed driver. DIRECTIONS - NORTH PARKING LOT: From Clayton, go west on Hwy. 76 for 6.8 miles. Turn left on Charlie Mountain Road until it deadends. Turn right on the Bridge Creek Road for 2 miles until it deadends at Lake Burton Dam Road. Turn right for 1.6 miles to entrance road on left. SOUTH PARKING LOT: From Clayton, go west on Hwy. 76 for 6.8 miles and turn left on Charlie Mountain Road until it deadends. Turn right on the Bridge Creek Road for 2 miles until it deadends at Lake Burton Dam Road. Turn left for 4.4 miles to the Flat Creek Road, turn right for 2.1 miles until the pavement ends. Drive through the gap at the end of the pavement and take the paved road to the right.
