London District, Daniel Boone National Forest
A section of the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail, this single track segment provides access to a variety of forest types and landscapes. Dry hardwood ridgetops give way to moist hemlock habitats in the Poison Honey and Pine Creek bottoms. Steep climbing turns, narrow single track, and steep side slopes provide challenges to riders and hikers. A stop near the creeks in spring will provide an opportunity to listen to birds sing as they compete for "sound space".
