In the Patagonia Mountains we think you'll be surprised to see a landscape abundant with grassy hills and oak woodlands. These mountains offer a perfect place to take a drive on one of several mining or ranching roads that wind through the range. Due to the close proximity of Mexico, you will encounter a landscape similar to our adjacent neighbors. We share many of the same animal and plant species. There are opportunities for views into Mexico from the high elevations, roads that will take you right up to the Mexican border, and a few old historic and mining sites to explore. Pack your lunch or load up your camping gear and explore the panoramic views of the Patagonia Mountains.
