Roosevelt National Forest Divide Ranger District This trail connects two major trails, Bennett Trail (Forest Trail 872) and West Frisco Trail (Forest Road 850). This trail has steep sections and is difficult for beginners. Rocky cliffs can be seen. Directions from Del Norte: From the west edge of Del Norte, on U.S. Highway 160, Follow Pinos Creek Road (Forest Development Road 330), south to Burro Creek Road (Forest Road 328). Follow Burro Creek Road 1/3 mile past the Fitton Guard Station to the Frisco-Fitton Trail on the east side. Seasonal Information: Normally Open: June through October .
