Council Springs Road (Used to be Squaw Creek Rd.) - Take Warm Springs Rd. east from Boise. Turn left on Council Springs Road Go 1/4 mile to the gate. Park on the paved area and unload. Lots of mud about 1/4 mile in if it has rained. Good road after that. If there is snow on the mountains you will eventually hit it and bottom out. This road ties in with several trails in the foothills including Lucky Peak. A trail across the top of the mountain goes to Bogus Basin. Robie Creek can also be reached from this trail. Great view of Boise and the Treasure Valley.
