Silver Creek Plunge is about 20 miles north of Crouch Idaho. From about mid-December to the snow melts this trail is accessible all the way to Silver Creek Plunge Resort. From Boise, take Highway 55 to Banks and turn right to Garden Valley, towards Lowman on the Banks-Lowman Rd. Turn left onto the Middle Fork Road & go 1 mile to Crouch.Silver Creek Plunge is about 20 miles past Crouch. There are many trails around Silver Creek. Our favorite is the Silver Creek Summit Trail. This trail begins past Silver Creek Plunge about 10 miles. The trail rises to Silver Creek Lookout and is a little more challenge than the local dirt roads. It is made for 4 wheelers. This area is accessible only in the non-snowy season.
