I live in Rhode Island and have a 03 KFX 400 with a Team Suzuki full Yoshi system, jettedm perfectly, K&N w/ aluminum box, polished swingarm, full skids, frame guards, front Bandits, back Chervon's, racing chain, 05 orange plastics, shock covers, AC racing bumper, 909 bar set-up, heel guards removed and reverse rev-limiter removed. The stock junk on the handlebars such as the kill switch, parking brake, and high beams (low is way better, high does nothing at night) are removed.
The problem with the 03kfx/z was the rear chain adjustment bolt breaking. Not on mine.. it was replaced with a custom stainless steel bolt that wont break from the vibration of riding.. like the stock bolt did.
Great bike.. I ride mostly trails and race sometimes..
