Pros: The looks and how much it cleans up the quad. The power is noticeable instantly.
Cons: Even though toomey made these pipes for 15 years for some reason they still can't get the fit down right. They were very hard to install, You had to stretch the mont brackets to their limits to make it fit.

The toomey kit was a christmas present from my folks. When i received it, it came packaged like it was a priceless diamond, which in my eyes it was!! The stinger tubes came labeled so you know which side to put them on. The instructions were very good it explained everything on how to put them on as well as some tips to make it easier. The fit of these pipes were awefull both stinger tubes hit my air box and it melted the one corner of the box. The expansion chamber were the hardest thing to get on you had to attach the springs first, WHICH was NOT! included in the package. That was the hard part Then you had to try to get the mounts to pull over so that it would seal right with the exhaust ports. After all that it was time to put the stinger tubes on the silencers which went very easily and make sure to use some silicone sealant high-temp. Then connect the stinger tubes to the chamber using the rubber seals supplied with the kit. DO NOT buy aftermarket aluminum clamps. toomey leaves no room to install them and they will not seal right do to clearance issues. Before i did all this of course i rejetted which went quick. After all was done i got to take it for its first ride. The sound is awesome and the power is noticable. However these pipes are not for the average rider because of the lack of low-end worse then stock pipes. But when they hit they hit!!!. The hardwork paid off in the end and unless you are running a modded banshee engine I would get the tr-6 kit which has a smoother powerband which is more comfortable to ride and easier. The t-5 works better with modded engines. Good luck to anyone buying these
