Pros: Not Busy
Cons: No Scenic Views
I recently visited the Burnt Mills Tract for ATV's in Pike County, PA and was impressed. Overall, I was very pleased with the location and the trail setup. The trailhead is about 12 miles north of Marshalls Creek, PA which is a little further than what the trail map says off the DCNR website. Almost got lost getting there, luckily we kept driving instead of turning around. Trailhead is plenty big enough for large trailers and many visitors. The trail is a little rocky but very fun. Once you get to the second trailhead, it's a little confusing as to which direction ATV's must go but eventually you figure it out. Trial and error. I couldn't believe how quickly we made it to the end of the trail and that was a little upsetting but not a reall issue. Maple Run is close by and we almost went there after we were done but we decided to get back home. Not many mud holes, just a couple. Got a little dirtly.
Overall, good for burning time and it's close to NW Jersey where I live. I'll come back. Happy riding!
