Caution***!!!-#^ Don't waste your money on an Extended Warranty with Honda. Besides, the 1st year warranty won't cover you if you drive your ATV in dirt or through water. I thought that's what the ATV's were made for. Friend of mine bought a brand-spankin' new 400 EX that locked up on him within the first 20 hrs. The mechanic said he found a piece of gravel on the piston! Don't see how that could happen unless it fell in when he opened it up. The piston was snapped off. The big boys came in from Honda and wouldn't stand by the warranty. Make sure they explain what your warranty is for. Manufacturer's defect or workmanship isn't a busted piston!
