Pros: Sand Dunes in northern Colorado
Cons: Kinda small
North Sand Hills are a couple of small dune areas in Northern Colorado. It offers everything that large dunes has just on a smaller scale. They have plenty of room to camp right off the main road leading in. In between the dunes and all around the edges are aspen groves that have trails running in and out. Lots of steep sand hills to climb plus the infamous Dead Man's Hill. This is where alot of people hang out at the top of the bowl and watch the hill eat up quads, The hill gets easier later in the season. They have a nice size drag strip to show off your speed. Overall this is a good fun area to bring the family. Hills for all skill levels. Nearest full service town is about 25 miles away. Definitly need a long weekend.
