Pros: Creeks, Mud holes, downed trees across up hill trails, awesome

Easy to find. Parking can be tough on busy days. Snack shop on premises. Staff was very friendly, yet firm when dealing with riders that broke the rules. Trails are laid out in the hills of the neighboring Illinois River. Lots of trails that were sometimes heavily rutted. Vehicles run in both directions on trails. Jeeps and trucks share trails with ATVs and bikes, but it wasn't a problem. They travel the trails very slowly. Creeks, mud holes, tall hills. Took the wife and the 8 and 10 year olds-all on quads. Real good place to teach kids how to climb. Bring a tow rope.
