The Warn 2.5ci 2500-pound winch is a great tool to have.  It (or a winch of greater power) is a necessity to anybody who rides a utility quad.

I highly recommend this winch.  It got me out of a few sticky situations when I had my Kodiak 450 and it has pulled a few people out recently.  It has a lot of power and spools very smoothly.

Warn makes a great product.  Sure, it may be much more expensive than other winches, but the phrase "You get what you pay for" is very evident in the winch world.
