Honda Sportrax 400EX

Pros: lots of after market parts, great ride on trails and track
Cons: hard to start cold blodded, needs an exstra gear

2007 honda TRX400EX great all around quad, lots of fun. on cold days it his a pain to try and start. tons of aftermarket parts and accessiories. easy to work on, iv had no problems with mine. its long lasting, has a great suspension. stock tires arnt that great. seat is nice, even on long rides. the revirce gear works great, but it is kinda hard to get it back in nutral after you back up. you have to rock it a little. you will have to make some ajustments to the clutch when its new. has a lot of torque and power. the only big problem is that the quad need an exstra gear. fully pined in 4 gear the quad still has a lot of power and could use another gear. i have put new holeshots, exhaust, airfiler, and im looling into puting a long travel suspension on mine. the honda dealers are realy helpful with everything and when ever i have a problem i just call my dealer and they tell me how to fix it over the phone. all dealers are diffrent, so make sure you resurch your dealer before you buy from them, you will be happy you did. i would recomend this quad to anyone. its easy to learn on and it has the power that you wont after you have been riding for a while. if your looking for a good all around quad to have years of fun on the 400ex is the quad for you. iv taken mine on many trials and tracks and i think its one of the best quads ever made. if i was ever going to buy a new quad id just buy a newer 400ex. if you buy a 400ex and dont like it you have to much exsperince and need a 450r or you shouldnt be riding quads.
