Pros: Plush ride from fully independent suspension; "transparent" transmission with manual option; seemless power without being overpowering; easy, shift on the fly 4 wheel drive switch; very comfortable seat & great instrumentation
Cons: Lack of front disks; insufficient engine braking downhill; gas mileage not great; high price

I compared Kawasaki's Prairie 700, Yamaha's Grizzly 660, and Honda's Rincon 650. I chose the Honda because of its reputation for reliability, its comfort, ease of use, and plush, Cadillac-like ride. Also, the special Honda 4.9% a.p.r. financing didn't hurt! The Kawa suffered from poor ground clearance in the rear, and a solid rear axle. The Yama was a really good machine, but I didn't like the "sticky" shift lever, or the more cumbersome 4 wheel drive selector. If you don't mind the higher price, and unless you're an all-out speed "junkie", I don't think you'll do better than the Honda Rincon.
