Pros: awesome! Simple, affordable, good phone and email support, even on sunday! easy to use - I'm having a great time with it. My downloads dont look NEARLY as good as the original. BEST warranty in the industry, bar none! I shopped for a long time and i'm happy! Oh, did I mention the replaceable lexan lens protectors? well thought out.
Cons: customer support was difficult. another friend had so much trouble recently he bought another brand! too bad - this is a great product with substandard customer service. Hopefully this program will go away. I suggest you contact them by phone instead of internet.

the camera is simple and durable billet aluminum [sony no less]. I runs that small AA battery pack to power it and has this weird looking microphone that I was really skeptical about, but it works GREAT and has NO wind noise at all, as they promised. I don't know how they did it, but they figured it out. the camera mount uses that industrial strength velcro like substance...when it's on there, it's there! plus the camera has a rubber sleeve that holds a replaceable lexan lens that protects the camera lens itself. I wear a small fanny pack for may camcorder and the battery pack and it works very well. you'll see my first video posted and I had placed the camera a little wrong - I suggest the first few times you mount the camera: sit on the quad, have the camcorder out and running, and have someone else mount the camera to your helmet. Otherwise, you are trying to look at the camcorder and sit upright on the quad at the same time. It doesn't work hehe. The first vid i took I downloaded directly from the camcorder to a VCR. WOW whata beautiful picture. I'm gonna have to buy new software to do justice to the resolution, clarity and reaction time of the camera. I cant imagine what a 480 line looks like - the 380 is TV quality! I am thoroughly pleased with the product. Customer service was difficult. A friend just gave up on them and bought a different brand! I dont understand their problem - but I hope it is temporary! Suggest phone contact instead of internet.
