My 05 TRX450R is a lean power plant. I was amazed at its awesome low end. I ride with a friend who sports an 05 YFZ450, we drag and play around on the moto tracks in the area. The R definitely eats the Z alive on low end, but the Z will pull away from me after 4th. I like the kick, very reliable, and the hot start was a plus. The front end is too light I think, I wheelie often tearing out of berms and what not. If your interested in buying a quad that's affordable (compared to the YFZ) and will be competitive I recommend this quad.
