Kicks butt!

Pros: Smooth comfortable ride, excellent acceleration, awesome traction. Easy enough to operate for my mom to drive. Excellent engine braking.
Cons: A little sloppy in turns, but to be expected with IRS. Better than any other IRS machine I have driven. Problems with neutral indicator light.

I've put this thing through it paces. Naaaasty mud bogs. Went through a hole my friend's grizz got stuck in with the Kodiak in 2 wheel drive. Turned on the 4x4 lock and eased on the throttle and shifted my weight and she crawled out. The grizz is great n' all, but the Kodiak does better without the weight. I was thinking of throwing a lift and bigger tires on this thing before I purchased it, but now I am not sure it is worthwile. The Ultramatic Tranny I think performs better than a manual especially in nasty conditions. It does get a little scary at high speeds because high cruising speeds have the engine at super high revvs. Acceleration reminds me of a jet ski. Ease on the throttle and you get very little accelerationr esponse. Nail the throttle and it screams.
