This bike is a weapon, we use it to get to our hunting areas, these areas are steep and rugged (a climb over over 1500 feet), last trip we had a TRX300 as well, this bike struggled to keep up with the TRX400, coming back we had two 50kg packs on the front, two deer on the back, plus one passenger, handled it no problem, the odd loose moment on the steep bits, as gravity assisted the descent. The ESP mode was awesome on the steep bits, as you could change gear without loosing power
