Pros: I bought it new in 2000 and have not had one problem with it. My family also bought a Yamaha Blaster at the same time and after a year we were fixing it weekly. My 300ex had plenty of power ( I weigh 225), never broke down, and used little fuel even after installing a jet kit and Yoshi pipe and header. I sold it on 10-09-05 for $2K.
Cons: LOVED the fact that it had reverse but it was like pulling enough levers to launch a nuclear missle in order to get it in reverse.
