much love for the dvx400

Pros: everything. good suspension, great looking plastic and graphics, confortable riding postion, smooth clutch, and very smooth running.
Cons: stock the motor is geared too high making it bog, but drop a tooth on the front sprocket and that is a quick fix. the seat is hard compared to the z400, but luckily ont sit down a lot when i ride. plastic skid plate that is stock sucks.

i absolutely love this machine. mine is an 04 with the black and green plastic. i\'ve added an arctic cat bull bumper, hyper nerf bars, an hmf pipe, powermadd handguards, uni air filter, itp t-9 grand prix aluminum wheels, maxxis razr 2s, and a 13 tooth front sprocket. i do a lot of fast trail riding mainly at brown mt ohv park and other local riding areas. it has plenty of power for about anybody. i ride with guys that have other 400s and 450s and some dirt bikes and im able to keep up or at least keep a visual. its all you need.
