Pros: great trails, takes skill to master some. something for everyone. get there also on highway 45 south of Nampa.
Cons: crowded on nice days. lots of clay. if it rains, be ready

here is the main trail head for the Owyhee front in southwest Idaho. BLM administered, fun place. wild and scenic desert to arid mountains, can reach gold mines and ghost towns. dirt bikes and 4 wheelers, canyon creeks to ride up, several good washes, look out for the waterfalls, even when dry they can tip you over. long ways from assistance, be careful.
