Went for a three day ride on the Hatfield-McCoy trails in West Virginia. My 400 performed excellent, handling anything we came up against. Four of us went together. The CAT, onne Honda, one Kawasaki, and one Suzuki. The Suzuki is my Dad's (an Eiger) and is a little more nimble, but I gotta' tell you the Independent suspension REALLY takes the jolts out of the trail. As far as power goes, the Suzuki and the Arctic Cat share the same engine. The Cat is geared a little lower, butI personally think that this is an advantage...put it in high and It would climb ANY hill that we encountered -also the extra ground clearance proved to be a real plus. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone looking for a 400. Oh yeah, if you ever get a chance to visit the Hatfield-McCoy trails...DO IT! We plan on making this at least a yearly excursion.
