Pros: It is very reliable and has a lot of low end torque.
Cons: Rear suspension is a little harsh and the seat is hard.

In the past, I have owned three suzuki's, two Kawasaki's, and one Yamaha.  This is my first Honda ATV but I have owned a Honda dirtbike.  Before I purchase my Foreman, I tried out everything imaginable.  I have many friends with new 4x4 ATV's of all manufacturers so I got a chance to field test many of them.  What sold me on the Honda was when I tested a guy's 450 Foreman 4x4 with 6000 miles on it and it was tighter and ran smoother than the new ATV's that I tested.  The gentlemen that owns it admits that he has been very hard on it and did not do the maintenance required and it still keeps going.  I have had my Honda Foreman 500 for about a year now and am extremely happy with my decision.  I am a Mechanical Engineer and have designed many machines in my time and am very impressed with the Honda Engineering.  It is now time to purchase my wife a 4x4 and I have to go with a Honda.  I know all major brands make good bikes and I guess it probably comes down to what your brand loyalty is, but being a tough critic, I can honestly recommend a Honda.  I have zero regrets.
